The Pony of Pop, Sapphire Shores. Gotta say I wasn't sure what to expect from this mare. Her first appearance in season one gave me pause and I guess I was quick to label her a bit...too high maintenance. She seemed to radiate all the negative stereotypical aspects of any pop singer.  But her second appearance gave me a much better impression of her. She felt more real. Professional, but easy to talk to and willing to joke about. The fandom for it's part has played more off her second appearance. Though not many fanfics include her, the one that I feel has her more accurate was one where she would console Vynal Scratch. She took on the air of a mentor that I think fits her well as one who has been in the music business for a while.

But rarely does anyone ship this mare with anypony. A few times with Rarity and once a strange fic pairing her with Fluttershy. With the voice of an angel and body of a supermodel she is well deserving of some love this month. So maybe a lucky stallion or mare can help her "hit those high notes"
